A Message from Ms. Lillard

Welcome to College Grove! It is my great honor to welcome you to our school and to our community. College Grove is an exceptional school within our elite Williamson County School District. I have had the privilege of being principal of College Grove since November 2010. However, being a longstanding community member, I can tell you firsthand what a wonderful school and community we have! We pride ourselves in a student centered learning environment and our rigorous curriculum prepares our students for future academic demands. As a school we believe it takes a collaborative effort for our students to reach their fullest potential and we strive to partner with our parents to achieve overall student, school, and community success.

To give you some background about myself, I have had the privilege of working in Williamson County School District since 2004. However, as a Williamson County graduate, I completed the same academic path that your children will complete in our county. I attended College Grove Elementary then Page Middle and Page High School. I enjoyed my academic career in our county and feel that the preparation given to me by our school system instilled not only a solid foundation of academic knowledge, but also values that shaped my future. I continued my education and completed my Bachelor’s Degree at Middle Tennessee State University and my Master’s Degree at Trevecca Nazarene University.

My husband and I currently live in Franklin and we are truly blessed to have four boys that are each growing up so fast! We cherish every moment! I believe that educating children is a privilege and a gift. As a school we take this responsibility seriously and it is my goal that all members of our school work together for our College Grove Scholars to achieve success, but first and foremost for our students to know that they have incredible value as a part of our College Grove Family.
